@Shwa Girl ....free movie at 9pm, door open at 8:30pm? Cineplex with their usually restriction BS, it had to be a time when many people are still sleeping, are attending extracurricular activities or have to be at work.

Is the lineup crazy in the past years of this promotion?

Cinpow, I've gone to the past few and it really depends on the theater I guess. I've gone to the one at Ajax Cineplex and the line normally isn't that long, maybe 100 people. I've always been able to get into the movie I wanted to see at the Community day events no problem

Wow, that is nice of them. I have to see if they will do this here. My DH and I are always up early. We could get breakfast at a restaurant and enjoy a nice movie, maybe a nap in the afternoon and than do something else or not. You can always just sleep in and still watch it in hi-def on your big telly (provided you have this) if you know how. Just saying

I think that if you are there for 830AM, you should be o.k. I think that if you are there for 8:55, the lines could be long.

I usually record movies on my pvr once it comes on pay per view. The kids like to go to the inside theatre and hey its free so that works for me

I know kids like the cinema experience, and I was there early this month with my boy on cheap Tuesday BOGO, but I refuse to buy stuff there. I usually just bring my own snacks and drinks and smuggle it in with me
