Cheap Snack

C&T chinese supermarket recently opened a section where you can buy hot ready to eat takeout. DH went there to get milk because that's the cheapest around. He passed by the hot food section and came home with 20 spring rolls($2) and a bucket of hot and sour soup($1) for $3.45.
We already tried the general tao chicken for less than $5. All I had to do was make rice and that was our supper for 4. They stop making hot food at 7:00PM so DH and DD went there to get cheap sushi.

I can do this everyday for a cheap supper and I don't have to cook.

Honestly the best cheap snacks are going to a local dollar store and getting those instant soups.

It would be lovely for nights when we are both pooped.

Last week when I saw that they now had sushi at C&T, I was super-excited.

Hooray for cheap sushi!

Yesterday after being pooped from shopping we went to C&T. While we were there around 7:00PM, the guy from the back just brought out a fresh batch of deep fried squid tentacles for $4.99, so we got that, 2 buckets of hot and sour soup ($2) and 4 trays of 8 sushi each ($3.99) for a total of $23.xx
