ELIGIBILITY:
To enter and be eligible to win, a person must at time of entry (i) be a legal resident of Canada; (ii) have reached the age of majority in the province or territory in which he/she resides; (iii) not be an employee of Recochem Inc. (“Sponsor”), or Canadian Tire Corporation, Limited (“CTC”), their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, participating advertising and promotion agencies, or those entities involved in the preparation of materials for, administration and/or execution of this Contest (collectively, the “Promotional Entities”), or if you are an immediate family member of, or reside with (whether or not related), an employee of any of the foregoing Promotional Entities. For the purpose of this Contest, “immediate family member” means a parent, child, sibling or spouse. Contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
The Sponsor shall have the right at any time to require proof of identity and/or eligibility to participate in the Contest. Failure to provide such proof may result in disqualification. All personal and other information requested by and supplied to the Sponsor for the purpose of this Contest must be truthful, complete, accurate and in no way misleading. The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion; to disqualify any Entrant should such a member at any stage supply untruthful, incomplete, inaccurate or misleading personal details and/or information.
CONTEST PERIOD:
September 1, 2015 12:00pm (EST) to February 29, 2016 12:00am (EST)
PRIZES:
There will be a total of Five (5) Prizes available to be won. The prize consists of one (1) $1000 VISA gift card. Limit of one (1) Prize per person. The odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received. The Prize must be accepted as awarded and cannot be transferred, assigned, sold, substituted or redeemed for cash, except that the Sponsor, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the Prize cannot be awarded as described due to unavailability for any reason. Gift Cards are subject to all of the terms and conditions as stated by the issuer. Gift Cards have no cash surrender value and no expiry date. Prizes will be awarded after winner has been successfully contacted and notified of his/her Prize and fulfilled the requirements set out herein. The Sponsor shall not assume any liability for lost, damaged or misdirected Prizes, or any component of any Prizes.
All potential winners are subject to verification by sponsor, whose decisions are final and binding, without limitation, including the request to have the potential winner provide to the sponsor a valid government issued identification. In all matters related to the contest. A potential winner is not a winner of any prize, even if the contest should so indicate, unless and until potential winner’s identity and eligibility have been verified including without limitation the potential winner providing the correct answer to the skill- testing question and potential winner has been notified that verification is complete.
RANDOM DRAW:
Random draw will take place on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. (EST) in Milton, Ontario. Five (5) eligible entrants will be selected by a random draw from all eligible entries received during the contest period. All winners are considered equal. Each selected eligible entrants will be notified by phone or email within Five (5) business days of the Draw Date. If a selected eligible entrants (a) cannot be reached by phone or email within Five (5) business days of the Draw Date; (b) fails to correctly answer the skill testing question; or (c) fails to meet the eligibility requirements, then he/she will be disqualified and another entrant will be randomly selected until such time as contact is made by email or telephone with a selected entrant or there are no more eligible entries, whichever comes first. The Sponsor is not responsible for a selected eligible entrant’s failure to receive notification for any reason whatsoever.
