Here is Saturday's gift of the beautiful homemade baby blanket. Last night DD1 opened her gift & got 3 pairs of Christmas socks!

Sorry, we also fell behind in posting. this weekend was the only time my inlaws could all get together for Christmas.

On the adult train we have opened:
18- Blistex Medicated ointment tube
19- Carnation Hot Chocolate (we had a family movie and hot chocolate night!)
20- Plastic Forks and Gourmet Jelly Beans (yummy!)
21- Dark Roast Coffee Kcups (hubby ripped them open and made one right away)

The kids have received:
A magic towel each, a two pack of Kinder eggs each, a Frozen painting set, and a tube of mini M&Ms. They also received an Olaf ornament for the Christmas tree! It is gorgeous

I am glad you liked it . How was Hannah' North Pole train ride? I bet she didn't expect anything like that coming her way this Christmas and was taken by surprise. Hopefully next year you are all can go for a ride and enjoy it as a family.

She he loved it, hubby didn't tell her they were going & just told her they were going to visit her uncle in Calgary, then he pretended to get lost in the middle of nowhere & they stopped "to ask for directions" (a first for hubby lol) & found the polar express by accident She got a ticket just like in the movie, a special mug to take home & a bell from Santa. She wants to take Lauren next year!

Last night I saw the northern lights for the first time! I have been wanting to see them since I first moved out here almost 2 years ago, but they are usually Hard to see in the city & at 2am when I am fast asleep. Anyways, last night they were really strong, but I was also asleep (I go to bed at 9pm now lol because DD2 keeps me up at night & I like my beauty sleep), but my brother-in-law called & woke me up to go look out our windows because they could be seen from inside my house without having to go and freeze outside (a major plus). My neighbour (from a couple streets over) got an awesome photo!
