^^I 'liked' that post Natalka, the commemorations in Germany are important and show the past has not been forgotten. The post before it, I read earlier today and it felt wrong to 'like' it. I don't like what happened to those poor people, but I don't have a better way to acknowledge I've read and agreed with your posts. Another site I'm a member of has 'thanks' rather than 'likes', and that's a big difference. The 'thanks' are to let a poster know you're grateful for them sharing something, even when it's horrific - something you absolutely abhor, rather than like.

I'm speaking to the mods here, not only you Natalka.

The holodomor was horrific and on the same scale as what happened to my ancestors, the Irish. The Ukranian genocide was 80 years ago, and the Irish 80 years before that. Both starved by their rulers, both had a million parents watch their children slowly die.
