    Pay with debit an get a coupon for a free donut. Didn't see this advertised but got a coupon. Valid certain dates.

    i got a coupon today, but i had to ask for it, they had minor advertisements up in store but i found the staff wasn't paying attention to who was using the tap and who wasn't, i watched the person ahead of me tap and not get the coupon

    I never got offered a free donut but I bought me a coffee and my daughter a sugar cookie and I didn't have tap and he asked if I did and said I could have got a free cookie...or maybe it was donut but I can't remember.

    it has to be a interac "tap" with a debit card only not when using the pin... a credit card tap doesn't qualify for the promo (or so i was told by a cashier when i asked)

    i think it's to try and promote the tap option more (it can be faster then swiping a card and typing in a pin)
