Thread: restaurant gift cards do they ever count towards points or go on sale?

    Just wondering if there is ever a good time to buy gift cards for restaurants at SDM, do they ever count towards points total or do they ever go on sale? Would like to buy some for my grown kids to put in birthday cards etc, would it be a better deal to get them at Costco? Thanks for any advice.

    They don't go on sale.Gift cards don't get points. You only ever get 8000 bonus points on a week at about end of November if you buy I think $200 worth of gift cards.
