It's $10 cheaper though this weekend with the $100 gc when you buy for $429. If you redeem $170 and get the $100 gc, the cost is $159. At 369, redeeming for $200, its 169.

It actually not much different when you calculate taxes on 429.99 vs 369.99. The big difference is out of pocket. This week you have to pay $100 more, and get the gift card. Next week it's $100 less out of pocket.

Also relies on them having stock at the sale price next week after the $100 GC offer this week
Most of the ones around here magically have no electronics left during redemption events

Yes Ron, but that $100 gc used at sdm gets you even more points. It's as good as another $40 on a 20x day. Oop wouldn't matter to me. The better deal would.

Thank you!! Not a very impressive flyer but most things I'm redeeming for don't really go on sale, wii u accessories, Cologne etc so I'm not overly disappointed. Just might not do as many redemptions as planned.

That's my biggest concern was the out of pocket cost. Yes the $100GC is great, but I'd rather put 169.99 on my credit card than 259.99 lol

I'd rather have $100 cash in my pocket vs $100 gift card. You can still spend cash at SDM and get points.

And you're really looking at no difference (less than $3 )in overall cost.. I guess I have to show the math...

    $429.99 *1.13 = 485.88 - $170 points = 315.88 out of pocket. $100 Gift Card to use later only at SDM.

    $369,99 *1.13 = 418.08 - $200 points = 218.08 out of pocket. $97.80 Cash in your pocket - use anywhere.

You're right. You are clearly smarter than I. You can do math and stuff.

great math, I bought this week for my son and was praying for getting 20X offer wus $50 or more (so more than 50K points too after redemption and $100 gift card) making PS4 hardly $100, but they didn't sent me that great offer which they used to sent almost weekly. instead they sent 16K / $60 or more. So I redeem for $170 + got $100 gift card and it cost me $202 after tax + got 18590 + 4000 from card purchase and will get about 6000 more on my RBC credit card statement. So total 28590 points. I think still not bad and its a bonus pack with complete 3 uncharted games. (my son used to play on his broken PS3.

A few things in the flyer for me for Saturday's redemption (fingers crossed) they have the stock.

The camera I want they only have 1 in stock so plan is I go and find someone at the back of the store for help while dh goes to the cashier to get someone paged etc.
