I love the idea of "Red Thursday" for Canadian Tire and heck Canadian stores. Did Canadian Tire just come up with "Red Thursday" this year? Oh and thanks for posting the flyer btw. I don't see anything of interest to me though but less money spent during the holidays the better.

- Canadian Tire has had Red Thursday for a couple of years now. :-) I love it as well.

The Alcan Foil 250' for $6.94 is an excellent price.
Normally we pay $1 for 25' when on sale. 250' @ $6.94 is $.69 per 25' compared to $1. The box is only slightly bigger than a 25' box, so it doesn't take up much extra storage space.
As well, we used our previously discounted 15% off GC ($7.50 off $50) to increase our discount (and offset Ontario HST).
This must have been a popular deal cause there was only 25 left in the store at 9pm Thursday, and the store received shipment of 200.
