When I enter in my card number I am getting a big ol red x. Tried a fews times now. Is their system down... anyone else having this issue? Frustrated as just wanted to load today's offers so I can shop.

Yes I am as well. I called and CS said they are having issues with the website and app. Try again in a few hours.
I just printed my coupons and went shopping. That worked. Still can't get on.
does anyone know if a coupon will work if its already loaded onto your card?

Just purchased something at 4:15pm and digital coupons did not load. I returned items.
I tried to log in to optimum account, but it was really slow. They must be taking the system up & down....
Yep takes me a few tries to be able to log in. Then adding and deleting coupons takes forever...
Was finally able to speak to CS.
System is down, no coupons are working, they can't verify our purchases.
Was advised to call again tomorrow. :shrug:
Ugh...I was going to go shop. Probably won't even bother if that's the case.

SDM should put a page "temporarily out of service, check back later" so we don't keep trying to log into a system that is down. It's confusing and frustrating for their customers.
I'm sure it doesn't help that when their trying to restore service, that we keep banging away on the log-in screen. It's basic 123 of web etiquette... (I think I'll call them when the dust settles.)
I am trying to log into the system and no go. I really wanted to know what offers I had left before going there today as I was thinking of getting stuff there instead of at Food Basics. Heck I know I haven't loaded any offers so I can't do anything right now. Tick, tick, tick til Food Basics closes too. :S
Seems website and app are working now.
Their system us down so frequent, it is ridiculous that a large corp has that many issues. I remember bonus redemption one time when the entire optimum system was down

Web etiquette 101... Danone did a good job of posting an outage message. The nice part of it was that is multi-language and very festive.
I contacted SDM about a future web outage message, and SDM Rep was uninterested in the suggestion. Oh well, time for a letter to Head Office.
I didn't shop last night and I wonder how many shopped and didn't get the points and either didn't realize, or can't be bothered to call. Nevermind a message online, they should also have to tell you in store if its down...but we know how sdm is ;) lol

I had 5x for milk. Went today and purchased it but the 5x the points didn't show. I called and it took a long time to talk to someone. But my points were added. So there still appears to be an issue with digital offers today.
I went shopping yesterday because I had the 3000 bp wus $10 on candy and snacks. Bought chips and chocolate. No points.
I tried calling 1 800 SHOPPER today starting at 9am. Tried several times throughout the day and get a busy signal.
Will try later tonight!
I have a coupon to pay $.99 for A&H Air Freshener but it comes up as "Coupon Voided" on the receipt. The coupon is loaded to my optimum card, and cashier also tried using the code from the printed coupon. Both showed as 'coupon voided'.
No one around to authorize price override, I left without product, again.
Residual effects continue from Monday's application failure.
Shoppers 1-800 is still busy... frustrating.
I received the 8000 bp owed to me, today. I find the best way to get anything from SDM customer service is to PM them on facebook. I always send my optimum number, date I shopped, transaction number and location I shopped and what coupon I used and someone always responds in a reasonable amount of time. (usually less than 3-4 hours)
Yay, I got my 12000 points. Took longer though (4 days) since I opted to use the 'Contact Us' page.
Anyone else having issues logging on? The website kept showing red x and when I finally tried the app, for both our accounts, it shows that the accounts have been locked and I should contact customer service!
I was trying to make my shopping list for tomorrow. I hope it's not just our accounts.
