ISIS militants claim hotel attack that killed 7 in Egypt's Sinai

CAIRO - Islamic State's Egyptian branch claimed responsibility for a bombing that killed at least seven people in a hotel in North Sinai on Tuesday where judges overseeing a parliamentary election were staying.
A militant tried to drive a car bomb into the hotel in the provincial capital al-Arish before security forces opened fire, causing the car to explode, the military and a witness said.

What's even more disturbing are their own propaganda videos.

I saw one where they lined up a bunch of young men(muslims) had them on their knees, shot them in the head and tossed them into the river. Must have been more than a dozen men.

You need to have a viable and acceptable alternative to ensure that Syria doesn't plunge further down that rabbithole.

As a band aid solution...it worked in those places. You are not going to get instant results in Syria, just like with Israel v Palestine
