My son will start eating lunch at school and he wants me to make his lunch for him, instead of the hot lunch program. What containers are good for toddlers and where do I find them. I do not want to spend too much in case he later opts for the hot lunch program.

    Thanks

Walmart. They had this collapsible large lunch container, that has 2 little cube-like sections for snacks, a a rectangular shape section....this sits on the main container and has a clear airtight cover

Hi! The dollar stores usually have a great selection of lunch containers. Also check out Walmart as their Christmas sales are starting, you may be able to pick up sandwich containers for cheap.

If you google 'bento boxes' those are a great investment, and perfect for little portions.

    Have a good day!

The Rubbermaid Lunch Blox Kit available at Walmart is perfect for small portions. I have used those kits myself with my kids as has many of my friends. Though a bit pricey they can also be used for snacks.
