My almay brag...everything is free...

Gotta say thank you to everyone that posted the almay deals! I don't wear makeup but my mom loves this brand so I went on a hunting spree for her. I went to 4 shoppers in my area and managed to score a total of 15 items for just a hair over $20 :) I had 9 $5 off coupons.

I got 5 small concealers, a bb cream foundation, under eye concealer stick, 5 various eye shadows and 3 lipsticks.

I tried to take a picture but mom was too excited and kept stealing them as I layed them down.

Funny how quickly her tune has changed on my couponing...not so stupid anymore eh mom ;)

I was on my way home from an appointment and was planning to stop at Shoppers for the Almay clearout. I realized the was a small Pharmaplus along the way that I had not been inside. So I stopped to take a peek. I did not buy anything, but they had five or six loose Almay coupons form 3 dollars off anything which my daughter and I grabbed. I stopped at Shoppers next and my daughter and I picked some Almay. At this point I realized I did not have my cards or even my drivers license with me. So I had my goodies put aside and came home. While tossing assorted Christmas cleaning piles around as I looked for the lanyard my main cards are attached to, I picked up a plastic bags and a bunch of 2 dollar Almay coupons fell out. I guess I picked them up somewhere. I headed back to Shoppers to pick up my bundle> I grabbed some milk and chocolate milk which brought me up to the minimum for my bonus offer of 8000 points. Before tax the bill was 17.58, including the bag of milk and 4 cartons of chocolate milk. I got 15 different items for my daughter and I from the Almay line plus about 8500 Optimum points. So we were totally happy.

Great post..great brags...been off SC for some time I heard about this through a friend and decided to come see bcuz SC members are serious about their deals...I was right..plan to go out today in hopes that I find something and use up those coupons that I hesitated on using..
