DH and I need to eat gluten-free bread. It costs SOOO much at the store so I'm thinking of getting a bread-maker from "Santa."
There seems to be a different style of bread-maker for gluten bread making but I have no idea about this.
I often see bread-makers at second hand stores but really don't know what I'm looking for.
Any suggestions/info would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance! This thread is currently associated with: N/A

I use a breadmaker sometimes, but for regular bread.
Do some googling and you'll find that lots of bakers use regular machines for gluten-free bread, and there are pages which will give you tips and hints on making it, and recipes as well.

Good luck! And you know, making regular bread in the breadmaker is even sometimes trial and error - so just keep trying til you find recipes you like.

I use a regular bread maker and I buy the mixes of gf bread, ( called Gluten Free pantry ) sometimes Loblaws has them on for $4.99, I know STILL pretty steep eh? I think Granger posted in another area for you and had much better details.
