This is true. Specially with regards to the digital offers, we don't really know how the system categorizes products, and what the exclusions are. And I think that SC-ers know more about these offers, and others like VIB and such :)
My offer for food didn't worked yesterday also. Had 3000 pts wub $10 of food. Got milk and macaronis. Never had a problem with milk before (I always buy milk when I have this offer). Well, I called and they added the missing points. :)
I had an offer 3000 pts on food and snack wus $10, I bought Swiss chocolate only and got my points.Last week had the same offer, bought 2 milk and one chocolate and got pts.
I had the same problem. Mine was spend $20 on Candy or Snacks get 6,000 in points, all I bought was chips and pop and no points awarded. I sent an email but haven't heard from them yet. Maybe I should call as well.
With what is classified as food and snacks, I was told when I phoned that milk didn't count as food and snacks.
unless you are in Alberta i think it is Milk does count you can read this thread for details on food and snacks
