Sounds like some very busy folks! I did laundry, groceries and will watch the 14 month old twins this aft while the parents take the 5 year old twins to hockey-then back to my 5 week old twins tomorrow-never a dull moment. DD has final exams this week and then we are off to Buenos Aires for 2 weeks to visit my sister.
Hockey again today so we had breakfast at home before coming and i packed a water and a hot chocolate for the game.
I have a lady picking up dish cloths this afternoon and then taking a computer to a lady i fixed it for.
Laundry needs to be done and bf wants chicken breasts and ranch dressing so we have to go to the store as well.
Next weekend there isno hockey and we are going to a private showing of Star Wars.

-well I am still feeling like crap -and down to my last cold pill ,vicks vaporub too
-asked hubby to go to shoppers but he said you do better than me -honestly got dressed and was in and out spent 109 but a lot od meds ,points 22,200 saved 3.50 in coupons 4.00 checkout51 and got 2 free show passes not bad
-we were gonna go to the show this weekend but feeling so under the weather-trying to nip it in the bud so I don't end up on medication as we have no plan
Morning! Buses canceled in our area today. Came to work for the morning but taking the afternoon off to take my youngest and the dog out to play in the snow. Have to cherish these times :)
Hubby is cleaning so staying out of the way! I am on laundry detail and unload the dishwasher. Then off to help with the tiny twins-never tire of cuddling newborns!
was gonna go to the library and get my book that's on hold -nope thou still have the bug in me -still a bit weak
-oh well I will just rest and do some of my "foil puzzle" its fun has tiny pieces of gold running thru some pieces

Quiet day for me, going to make homemade French fries to go with the shake n bake chicken for supper.
Kiddos and dh are out of the house, I was surprised that the roads were not worse than they were but grateful because dh was booked for today so extra $ for truck maintenance, etc.

Monday - shake n' bake chicken with fries
Tuesday homemade pogos and veggies with dip
Wednesday - peameal bacon with scalloped potatoes
Thursday - sweet & sour chicken with rice
Friday - breakfast for supper (easy & cheap) and/or leftovers
Making DS and I a bad bad lunch
. Pizza and poutine, was going to treat him to DQ but this was in freezer. Cheaper but just as bad :)
Dog and ds enjoyed fresh air. I also put away every single clean piece of laundry! Now I think a hot bath before hockey game. Glad it's at our rink tonight. They get to come to us on this snowy day.
We were supposed to have company for supper but they cancelled. It was storming at their place...sun was shining here all day. At least some house cleaning got done. I`ve really let it go because I was so busy with crocheting.
well had a fun day this afternoon the phone rang and it was my daughter -we talked for 2 hours all about her trip to rome,Florence,venice she loved it -oh and she was frugal too she cancelled a meal on new years eve and saved a ton and cooked in her condo in rome -oh and she told me no trinkets for anyone -she didn't buy any gifts to bring back to family -I laughed
-so nice to be able to talk to my daughter that long as she had booked the day off to get groceries ,clean and cook a nice meal for her hubby -cause they got in at 8.00 p.m last night
-and the best thing she told me was the trip is paid in full -ahhh she is starting to sound like a daughter of mine for sure -my how she has come a long way from that teen girl in highschool and university that spent so much on clothing and makeup etc
-plus she has a car account going they are saving for another car incase the 10 year old car just goes someday
Coupongirl: I hang my head in shame to think how frivolous I was with money. It did not help that I worked in fashion and recieved 50% off as we had to wear the current season. I think that phase of stupid helps me be so much better with money, at least that's what I tell my self.
-oh yes it didn't help my daughter that when she worked at winners in university -she spent a lot of money on clothing and earrings and bangles from there-mind you she had to quit that job as they wanted her to work way to much and education is soo important
-oh and she told me she also has a baby fund started too -as she plans on that coming up soon too -so proud when your grown kids tell you this stuff -then you now you did an okay job raising them
Day 2 in our second head office working on things. Even though I am here and gives me a whole list of stores I can stop at and shop at, no shopping is happening due to the weather and the fact my job is wearing me out right now.
I sat down with my boss and we planned out a few things as for what I will do, won't do and realistically how much time we can allot to many things as we have to prioritize. Even though I am in this position full time now our off season is not that long when you factor in multiple locations each having their own unique needs.
We have a managers meeting tomorrow where I will lay out our plan and let our managers know what to expect over the next few months or so. As well next week will be my first support to trip to help our a short staffed branch. We were supposed to have a new person start last week but they did not show up so we are back to square one and since it is one of our smaller branches they are really feeling the pinch. I will go out and pitch in where I can even if it is just someone to stand at their front counter and answer their phones.
We have a lot going on but looking at it from the flip side, I have no time to spend money so my job is making me even more frugal.

good morning all, a quick catch up back to read some posts in here. Healing is slow but it is improved for sure. With that leg brace on all day I can get away with taking the pain pills only at night to sleep. Good thing as they are almost all gone anyways, I can see how people can become addicted to these.
This weather is so pretty and that is the ONLY nice thing I can say about it. It is very slippery to walk or drive, too cold to really enjoy the dog walking so they'll be " backyard " poopers for today. I've been dodging being in too close and personal with DD ( no smooches, lol ) all last week trying NOT to catch her cold. I think we are in the clear now, she sounded so much better today.
This nonsense with my back and leg has kept me semi-frugal. If I cannot get out I cannot spend....however sending DH with a list creates its own problems.....but that is fine, so grateful he stepped up in all areas while I've been sidelined.
Day 4 of my second week on WW. I can see this working already. Stay warm and safe everyone and enjoy the day!!
