Update: That artist/photographer friend of mine died from cancer this afternoon. It's a bit rough at our house right now.

Angela, I was just wondering yesterday where you had been. I am so sorry to hear about your friend's passing and the other sadness you have been facing. Prayers said on your behalf.
I went to our Sears store today. It has been turned into an Outlet Store. They had 50% off the lowest price on coats which I have been needing. I found one that fit and I have gloves, scarf and hat to match.
We had to take our pooch to the vet today. It turns out he has seriously impacted anal glands,so we have to give him antibiotics. Poor little guy!
We had a very nice lunch at the nursing home today to celebrate sil's birthday. They have entertainment every Friday, so it's always a nice time to spend with his mum.
Tomorrow is a church "Search (for a new minister) Committee" meeting in the morning and then we have an Open House in the afternoon.
I have a reading to do in church on Sunday. So a busy weekend.
I am heading off to bed as I have to get up early.
J&C I have been meaning to mention that I am glad to hear that your arms have healed. That has been a long process for you.
For those of you in Saskatchewan, we're all grieving with you about the tragedy in your province. Prayers said for all those affected.
Good night folks! Have a great weekend!Last edited by avoncallingu; Fri, Jan 22nd, 2016 at 11:44 PM.

Yes such a terrible tragedy in Saskatchewan!
Today my BIL is taking my DD out shopping as he would like to buy a guitar. Perhaps they might go to a gallery or museum as well. Not sure what my sister and I will do but this is the coolest day of the weekend so we should go out touring!
