For Halton Region secondary students who wish to pursue a career involving textile, fibre arts or textile design programs:
$500 Rosemary Makhan scholarship from the Halton Quilters Guild

Hamilton secondary school students:
Chaney Ensign Bursary fund for students in serious financial need-details; Feb. 1 deadline

Optimist International Oratorial Contest-prizes are scholarships. Students must be under 18 years of age as of Oct. 1,2015.

Don't forget to check workplace bursary programs, union local programs, and other service clubs in your areas!
Some scholarships can have winter or early spring deadlines.
