I'm just curious about everyone's style....what, in a perfect world, our rooms might look like.So I thought I'd start a thread about showing our styles...particularly in what our personal rooms might look like if money were no object and we didn't have to consider anyone else but OURSELVES. Feel like doddling the remaining winter weeks dreaming?

If so...here's our first style question: What would YOUR personal style in a KITCHEN be if money were NO object??! WHY?

I'll start the ball rolling, here's mine:It has LILACS!! Okay....countrified cabinets, large windows, lots of light...and who wouldn't want a chandelier in their kitchen??!

    well......what an interesting thread!

If money was no object I might go for this Clock Tower that was transformed into a huge kitchen! The reason? Maybe then I would stop cooking in the middle of the night!! The large clocks a huge reminder of what hour it is.

I'm a huge fan of white kitchens, but I'd also need to hire someone to clean it. I'm no good at that, lol.

Walkonby, now that's one gorgeous conversion! Can you imagine asking someone to construct window clocks that huge? As for huge clocks, I saw one yesterday at HomeSense that must have been about 2' in diameter...that might work for your kitchen!

Lol, I very nearly posted that one, too...it's a sort of sophisticated countified kitchen..
I also love white kitchens and unfortunately just have the blond oak that is so prevalent in most kitchens. I hinted to Hubby about having them painted white but ... guys and their wood!! Gah!

Not enough colour! Green is a neutral to me because it is the colour of leaves...e.g. this is my dream soup pot http://lecreuset.ca/product/stockpots/

    I dream of green!

E.g., I would paint the cross bars on the windows a pale leaf green and fill the window with plants.

Honey, I wouldn't care what colour it would be, I'd love one, too! Although I'm partial to a sunny yellow!

@Lynn49 and @walkonby - hahahaha....sorry have been laughing since I read your comments about guys and their wood!! Love it. I just want to say that after continuous nagging for 5 years, my DH finally said yes to me painting the oak kitchen cupboards white. I did this project two years ago and he now absolutely loves it.
