Hello, after all these years I'm still trying to figure out what's a good price for Brita replacement filters. I try to compare prices and buy on sale, but I have no idea what I'm supposed to be paying. If you buy these, what's your target price and where do you usually buy them? Thanks!

Do you have a Costco membership?

I always buy them from Costco when they go on sale. Over the years they've switched from 6-packs to 7-packs and now it looks they sell as an 8-pack there. 8 for $47.99 on their website (slightly cheaper in-store...the website always adds a couple bucks for the shipping). They go on sale there a few times a year too (I want to say usually for $7 off?). 8 for $47.99 still seems expensive though...I wonder if the online price is much more right now & if they just raised the price?

Would be interested in hearing about everyone else's Brita filter finds!

Also, did you know you can recycle your Brita filters for free?

You don’t have to be a Costco member to buy them.
You can buy them at Costco.ca and pay with credit.

Hi Abby, thanks! We bought our current 8-pack from Costco. I don't think it was on sale, but I didn't know any better and we bought it because we were out. Will watch out for their sales! And no, I had no idea Brita recycles their filters! That's good to know, I will be saving our used ones from now on. Now I feel bad for throwing out our old ones, but I guess that's better than than the hundreds of bottles of water we did not buy and drink.

Thanks Shwa Girl, we do buy from the Costco website without a membership. I only tag along with family when they go to the warehouse.

That's a horrible price! $6 a filter and you have to buy an 8 pack?? Go to Walmart.
It is slightly under $6 per filter but they are almost always on sale.

Usually 6$ to 8$ price for a pack is the range to go for
