I got an iphone and 6 months later the wifi went. Called Apple and apparently this phone was only under warranty for 90 days. I doubt I will buy another Apple product,

Was it refurbished? That would explain why it only 90 days.

I had an iphone 4S and after 1 year had nothing but problems. The Apple store offered me $50 for the phone if I wanted to upgrade to the new phone. No I do not want to upgrade, I paid $700 for a phone and I expect it to last more than a year (I was on a 3 year contract). Will never buy any Apple product again.

Like everything else, there's lemons mixed in with the batch. My first iPhone was the 5, I upgraded to the 6 because my daughter wanted (earned) my iPhone 5. My iPhone 5 had a glitch in the software, I took it in to Apple after 9 months and they replaced it. Both iPhones are still going strong. I do believe that all smartphones regardless of company aren't meant to last more than a few years. Especially with the continue growth of technology. The good news, there's lots of options for the consumer.

When did you purchase the iPhone 4? Did you buy directly from Apple or phone provider? Apple to my knowledge has always offered 1 year warranty on new products and 90 day warranty on Apple Care.

If it was a replacement through Apple, it was only a 90 day warranty. Same thing with my iPod Touch.

I have always had superior support from Apple. I had an Iphone 4s and the sound went on it after inserting earphones. I took it to the apple store and walked out 10 mins later with a brand new phone. Warranty transferred with the new phone and the balance was the same as what was on my damaged phone.
