I cannot seem to locate the brochure link on the bank site but today I found a brochure called : Important Updates starting April 1, 2016-Personal Bank Accounts, Services, Fees and Agreements.
Safety deposit box fees are going up.
Changes to agreements-there is one bit about how it relates to a deceased's estate regarding liability-fyi!
Unlimited Chequing Account will become Smart Account. Changes to fees, e-transfers and minimum balance waiver. Plus the Aeroplan Miles Reward feature is being discontinued effective April 1, 2016.
Everyday Chequing Account-minimum monthly balance for fee waiver will be $2000 (double of current amount). Monthly fee stays the same (yay!) but if you go over the 12 transactions per month, the ding per transaction will be $1.25 (up from $1).
eAdvantage Savings Account-transfers made through CIBC telephone banking or CIBC ATMS will become free (current $5 per transfer).
Transaction fees for accounts no longer offers-$1.25 per transaction as of April 1 (currently $1 per transaction).2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.

Debit card note-in the branch on the television screen is news that customers have to use their debit cards to pay bills in-branch as of June 6. It'll expedite some processes for the bank. So if you are used to paying with cash or cheques for your bills, you'll need to have your plastic ready instead.
If you don't have the debit card, register now.2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.
