Good morning
Ok, this is a great offer as my toaster oven died this morning. I only eat one loaf of bread in about 2 weeks--so if you would like to trade (or give away) UPC and receipts, please PM.

Thanks so much for posting this 'potohgold' ... we've been doing without a Toaster Oven for several years, since our old one broke, so I was all over this offer, once I saw it.
Drive to Walmart, verify the Dempsters Whole wheat bread UPC code, grab 5 @ $2.27 > head to fast checkout; goto bank > money order; go home to do the paperwork, cut out UPCs from bread, tape to paper along with receipt; patch the holes where I cut out the UPCs,(what a pain); find stamp, fill out envelope, double check info and seal envelope; get back in car, drive to postal outlet to catch the p.m. pickup... its Friday afterall... whew! what an ordeal. Sure hope I get one?
Time for a beverage!!

@Pointsman , what fortuitous timing of this offer. Glad you were able to participate!
And if I had to guess, not only will you be among the first 500, but your toaster will be the first off the skid. At a MSRP of $59.99, it's well worth all the running around.

Most of all, I love how people share info on this forum, to help us all save a buck, or get early intel, and a decent shot at a nice promo like this one!

Just FYI... Saw this promo on Ben's bread loaves at Costco... in New Brunswick. (so the promo appears to be outside of Ontario as well)
I didnt buy them as I dont go through that much bread myself... but 3 loaves per Costco bundle at $7 per bundle, you're more than halfway there.Last edited by bhlombardy; Sat, Feb 20th, 2016 at 11:42 AM.

Depending on your bank account, you may have a few "free" ones from your bank. I can have up to 4 free per year on my account... then I think the price also depends on they type of account you have. After my limit of 4, I think they're $4 each. I'm not really sure, I buy them so rarely I never go over my limit. I usually just write a cheque. (although this promo doesnt allow cheques, apparently)
The next place would be the post office... and they are $7 (plus tax) from Canada Post.Last edited by bhlombardy; Sat, Feb 20th, 2016 at 01:48 PM.

Just reading the terms now... and what a nuisance!
You shell out approx $15 on bread. Plus $8 for a $10 money order (if you dont have access to free ones)
-- totaling $33 all for a 1-in-500 CHANCE at a $60 toaster oven. (which probably realistically sells for about $30 in actual retail world.
And which I just learned is a discontinued model.
If you don't get the toaster oven they'll alledegly send you back your money order... which you can cash out at face value, but you're out the 8 bucks you invested in it, plus the postage... plus all that bread.
Kudos to those who manage to get one, but it seems like too much of an investment for a mere chance at one.Last edited by bhlombardy; Sat, Feb 20th, 2016 at 01:49 PM.
