1
apples are 10
bananas are 4
so 1+10+4 =14
eta....15 I can count really!
I'm guessing:
1
Apples-10
Bananas-4
Coconut-1
1+10+4=15
Apples are worth 10
Bananas are worth 1 (the first bunches that are worth 4 have 4 bananas in the bunch, the last line only has 3 bananas in the bunch)
Coconuts are worth 2 or 1 for each 1/2 coconut (the line shows that 2 coconut halfs are worth 2, the last line only has 1 coconut half so it's worth 1)
1 ( 1/2 coconut)+ 10 ( 1 Apple)+ 3 (3 bananas in that bundle)=14
I don't think it's fair to ask people to do math on Fridays.:P
:cheesygrin:

hey @DaveP I like how you showed your work! teachers love that!
Apples = 10
Banana = 4
Coconut = 2
Answer: 16
Like they said:
Apple = 10
Banana = 4
1/2 of a coconut = 1
Total: 15
And I concur: it's absolutely not fair to post a math question on a Friday, or any day.
Dave, no one likes a Teacher's Pet! You won't have any friends, and you won't getany Valentine's Day cards either and no one will pick you for Red Rover!
Don't encourage him, Walkonby.

I saw another similar photo math problem on Facebook and took a screenshot. I hope you don't mind me posting it here. This one has flowers instead of fruit... If anyone finds anymore of these post them here (if it's ok with @danger_dan the op ) or maybe start a new thread somewhere (if it's not).

27 for the flower one.
14 for the fruit one.
Flower one:
Red: 20
Blue: 5
Yellow: 2
So one of each: 27 (I hope!):cheesygrin:
