The store in Bayer's Lake Halifax has had the store closing sign up for a few months now. Seems they are bankrupt.

My local Danier is just gone. One day there and the next disappeared so I will not get a chance to shop a sale.

I walked past one today. Everything was still really expensive (only 25% off) and a lot of items were scratched. They did have some things for 75% off

Yes!! I'd been stalking a wallet I wanted for months...it was on sale price of $69 FOREVER. Once this "amazing closing sale" started, I noticed they jacked the price up to $99 and put an "amazing discount" on it to make it look like we were getting a deal. So it was now $62.10. Oooohhh wow thanks for the $6.90 discount Danier. Did they think we wouldn't notice?! I wouldn't rush to buy anything unless you have a gift card to use up. Makes me mad that these stores don't recognize their faithful patrons and just want to make a quick buck. Not sorry to see Danier go.

Checked out the Coquitlam outlet store today. There are a few bargains in very limited sizes- mostly XS in men and XXXS in women. The rest of the stock is - wait for it- 10% OFF! Yeah, that's what I drove out from Vancouver for- 10%!!!

IMO Danier is not the easiest store to shop at. Last year I purchased a purse on sale; when I changed my mind and returned it they insisted they couldn't credit my card, but could only give me a Danier GC. Ya right. So I often when back trying to use up my GC with no success. There was nothing that really interested me; until this weekend. I found a white colored leather jacket in my size (very rare). Reg $449; I paid $116 (before GC). It fits beautiful and I feel like a million bucks

I am waiting. There is nothing there that I NEED. But, I bought a backpack purse two months ago that I love so much and it comes in red.
