Lowes had a 4 day save the tax event
People were buying washers, flooring, snow blowers -- big items

But, at the front of the Whitby*, store near the cash register, there were displays of yellow tax clearance items

(4) tropical plants, reg. $1.99, sale $1.00, save the tax price $0.88
beats Giant Tiger's price
(4) solar lights, reg. $2.29, sale $1.29, save the tax price $1.13
beats Dollarama's price

Plus earned Air Miles too


*always a great shop at the Whitby store and the staff and helpful and smile; always a disappointing shop at the Oshawa store, IMHO

Yes, there are lights left. They are more expensive ones. The ones we got were not special colours and such. Right by the check out, with yellow shelf tags. In the lighting section.

We also saw discount patio chairs and tables, just inside the exit doors at the cash.
At the entrance, outside, there is Scotts triple mix, big bag for $2.99
In the outdoor lawn and garden section, there are some clearance planters, tall ones, yellow stickers

We don't have a Lowe's. I was scouring the fall clearances for tall planters. If I were nearer, that would be great! Thanks for always sharing your great deals!
