I have sent in the recalled Magnetix product for valuation and refund process in Dec, 2015.
Mattel received the recalled product and quoted us with a much lower valuation than we paid and also declined for refund.
They offered us $60 credit for other toys, then I requested it to be refund instead (reasonable right? because I don't play toys anymore).
We were not happy with their response, and asked my product returned or refund. Mattel declined either request and said they lost my item already.
I have tried to work out a resolution with Mattel for the last 3 months, but Mattel had stopped responding and passed the deadline (I set) to reach a resolution on Feb 26th, 2016.
I have sent them few more emails after the deadline, but still no response.
