Mayor Tory made a very gracious statement about Rob's passing in part: “His time in City Hall included moments of kindness, of generosity to his council colleagues and real efforts to do what he thought was best for Toronto. He was, above all else, a profoundly human guy whose presence in our city will be missed.”
Wasn't a fan, but at the end of the day he was a husband, a father, a brother, and a son. I would never wish disease or death upon anyone. I hope that he can rest in peace, and that his family can grieve in peace as well.
Very sad for his family who seem to be as close as as family can be. R.I.P Rob. My prayers go out to his wife and kids who will really miss him.
sad for his kids, they are so young.
Mayor Ford did one thing that no other mayor did. He gave the suburbs a voice to be heard

I about lost it when Stephanie said he was the " Mayor of Heaven " . His kids sure appeared pretty strong for their young age.
it was a very moving service. his daughter, stephanie did a great job.
it's a real shame we didn't get to see him come back after his 'troubles'. i didn't always agree with what he said/did but he seemed to have the best interests of people of the city at heart (before and after his troubled times).
he was much too young to go.
2 years ago today, he died
wonder if he would be happy that his brother, Doug Ford, is the leader of the ON Conservative party
