I know a lot of people have donated all they got but some of us good really use the opportunity to keep free food even if its not the best "food" out there. I'm personally having trouble coming up with ways to use the bologna, all I've got is sammiches. As for the wieners here are some I came up with:

Cocktail Wieners - done in the slow cooker with a real yummy sauce https://www.pinterest.com/pin/399061216962947504/
    Wieners & Beans
    Mac & Cheese with Wieners
Pretzel Dogs - Plan on making these eventually https://www.pinterest.com/pin/399061216963013577/
Corn Dog Muffins - Maybe, not really into cornbread https://www.pinterest.com/pin/399061216962824584/
Hot Dog & potato Hash https://www.pinterest.com/pin/399061216962824553/
    Chili cheese dog fries https://www.pinterest.com/pin/399061216962824506/
    Chili cheese dog Bake https://www.pinterest.com/pin/399061216962824429/

    Anyone else got any ideas?

You lucky, lucky people! I wouldn't have any trouble at all!

My fave way for bologna is to fry it up, along with some onions, and have it on toast with lots of ketchup.

Use for breakfast meat with eggs, instead of bacon.

Cut up and use in a casserole with diced potatoes/hashbrowns, veggies, etc.

On pizza - yes, it's good!

I found this - quite a few ideas here.

Were you able to get in on the money making bacon this past week that was in the west?

    No, I didn't get any.

Husband had bought some NN bologna, and was so disappointed it wasn't like the 'good' bologna we had previously (Schneiders).
So tonight to go with perogies, I cut the bologna in strips, put it in the oven with a bit of oil til it was browned on both sides - it was really good, almost like bacon.

I also donated most of it away as I am the only one in my family that will eat either of them (they say something about being processed food)

    My fav two

    1. Good old fashioned toasted bologna sandwich with maybe a splash of ketchup and mustard on the side of the plate to dip the sandwich into

    2. I grew up camping as a kid and there is nothing better than hotdog on a stick cooked over a open fire. omg the best

I completely agree about hot dogs/sausages in the fire! Best way ever to cook them. Second best is BBQ. But alas living in a apartment in down town major city we are not allowed to have either on our balcony haha. So we resort to using them in meals. But when I go up to the cottage every summer I always make sure I bring the best hot dogs and lots of them. I have been known to have them for breakfast while there too because I can have cereal at home any time! I've even taken some home from being cooked there.
