Costco membership price going up in 2017. US report.

Costco USA is planning to raise the price of the Gold Star membership from $55 to $60 and the Executive membership from $110 to $120.

According to CNN.com the increased price will occur in 2017.

Purchasing from Costco.ca or Costco.com will still be ‘free” – no membership required, shipping and handling included.

Costco US, will continue to break their partnership with American Express. They plan to offer a VISA card payment option in the warehouse and at the gas stations.

Costco Canada already said good-bye to American Express and hello to Mastercard. All Mastercards are permitted at Costco Canada warehouses and gas stations.
