Hamilton-Lease Expiry Sale for Ingeborg Shoes (located in the last still-standing part of former Mountain Plaza Mall on Upper James St at Fennell Ave). Everything must go. All pairs of shoes are $60 or less each. FYI-most styles are in European sizing so know your size. Ad was in today's community paper issue.
Opening soon in new location-Sammy's Restaurant in the former Payless shoe store in the west end of Ancaster.
I saw a scissor-lift in use in the space yesterday (relatively empty at this time). I think the place will be open before Thanksgiving but not by end of Sept.
Update: new location has delays of at least two months. Current location on Wilson St E at Cameron Drive is still open for now.

Hamilton-Closing around Jan .10 Hamilton City Centre. Mall will be demolished in February 2023 for the high-rise project set for the site. I do hope those clocks get saved and repurposed!
Missed this Nov. 19 nostalgia event-the mall was such an update compared to next door Jackson Square-bright, light and accessible.

Not sure if this was posted...a new Hart store opening on barton & kenilworth, not sure when.
I assume that is the store from downtown Hamilton that is relocating? Good area for the shoppers and plenty of bus service too! I was hoping that the store would reestablish itself downtown but the LRT work would make that tricky.
If the store does not go into the Centre on Barton (website is ok but Facebook page is dated), there is a former BiWay store on SE corner that might be the new home?
Its going in the old Liquidation King (McFrugals) ..there was a bi-way there? i cant remember. just glad to have more shopping options. ;-)
There used to be a Bi-Way store at that corner, so you are correct!
Closing in December-the Punch Bowl Market and Bakery (Upper Stoney Creek). Land was bought by the Hamilton Conservation Authority to expand the Saltfleet Conservation Area.

Now open-Burlington, Mapleview Centre-Linen Chest in upper level (in part of former Sears store). Hope that means there is a store entrance facing Fairview St now!
Linen Chest | Mapleview Centre The reason I knew about the location-the Mall name came up whenever I was checking stock for items on the Linen Chest website.
Sport Chek also opened in another part of that same Sears store recently.
