The specialty drinks here are good and decently priced in the summer. But when it comes to fountain drinks... one can certainly do better. One can get less-than-$1 drinks all year round at Circle K 89c for any size fountain beverage, and the selection is of about 14+ varieties including Coke and Pepsi brands.

Yup, their iced coffee is horrible. Too much ice, too watery and its not even blended properly. Last time I bought it some sugary coffee syrup was at the bottom and not mixed well.
I think I will just spend a buck more and go for their Iced Frappe instead, definitely worth it. Their Smoothies are good too.

Thanks!
I knew about some of their summer drink specials, but I think I'll try out the smoothies this summer & the new frozen lemonade.

Been waiting for this, thanks for posting
I LOVE their iced coffee but always order it unsweetened, so maybe it tastes better that way.

I prefer McDonald's vanilla ice coffee over Starbucks iced coffee. Well, I guess it depends on the person making it, but the times I have had Starbucks, it wasn't good. During the dollar drink promo I mostly get the ice coffees. I notice every year when the dollar drinks are on, we spend a lot money on drinks. We would get it almost everyday either in the morning or afternoon when it's hot. Sometimes both and it is for at least 4 people. Oh, it's a dollar, but it adds up. Anyone else spending too much on dollar drinks?

They are TOO sweet, especially the lemonade. I wish they would go a bit easy on the sugar. Not sure if they can make it less sweet for you.
Lemonade didn't really have that tangy sour taste, it was just too sweet for me . Usually I try all of them once during this promo, that's pretty much it. If it was a bit less sweet, I would maybe drink more

Today I passed the Upper James/Rymal McD's and told myself to forget any notion of getting pop except for really hot days and when I can spare the $1.15. Trying to stick to my vitamin drink mix daily and call that my "pop" so I don't keep spending money on sugary treats.
