    Can anyone please recommend a free home design software? Any that will focus on individual rooms for placement of furniture/appliances.

    I thought that some Windows bundles contained a very plain design software. There was a program in early 2000s at work that was used for something related to the company open house and I had to have someone show me how to use it. Name escapes me...

    Searching online, I see some results for SmartDraw-you can download the app for your Windows desktop or use the online version.
