That went out of the window when Mr Trump started campaigning. He abused his fellow republican candidates, he spouts lies and denies them. He contradicts himself seconds later because he won't use a script-writer . He thinks being polite and respectful is being politically correct and derides any-one who disagrees with him.
His racist spew-age is only slightly higher than misogynistic actions, homophobic and anti-non-Christian rhetoric .

but worse than that is his followers lack of any critical understanding of how the American political and legal system work. I've seen call for Killary/Shrillary to be arrested on Nov 8th before pols close.Because either

    1) she's rigged the election by using some-kind of mind-control reptilian overlords Illuminati Jewish Blood-Libel hocus pocus
    or
    2) Obama is going to smuggle both of them out to avoid justice and live in Kenya, Antarctica , Pandora or possibly join the new Sith Order.
    or
    3) Obama has already signed a supa-secrit-presidential order and impose marital law and isn't going to give up the White House to any-one.

They also appear to think that the President can over-ride the Legal rights of Private Citizens by ordering Killary/Shrillary to be publicly executed without due process..In fact some of them seem to think the President can do what he likes, without any checks and balances..
While whining That Obummer is gonna take their guns any day now and force all the wimmin-folk into weekly abortion houses..

Family defends controversial Halloween decor that shows Trump hanging from noose

he Leal family stuffed a mannequin affixed with Donald Trump face and hung it from a tree in their front yard next to another stuffed character with a Hillary Clinton face, which is holding a Clinton-Kaine "Stronger Together" campaign sign. "My dad said, ‘I got an idea. Let’s put Donald Trump hanging and Hillary Clinton holding the string and sitting down," John Leal said.
Leal is just a teenager, but he follows the political drama between Clinton and Trump. He said his parents taught him that Trump is disrespectful.

"We don't like the way he talks to women. He treats them with disrespect,” Leal said. “She’s [Clinton] not disrespectful. She treats others with respect and she just has a big heart."
While the family made a bold statement, others thought the decoration was disrespectful.
"That's pretty morbid," Mari Munoz said. "I think it's wrong. He might be the next president. That's insensitive and it offends people."

"People need to really think about what they're doing and just be adults about it. We're teaching our kids the wrong thing and there's a right way of doing things,” Suzette Valles said.
Earlier this year, an Oregon farmer raised eyebrows with a similarly controversial display that showed a Clinton likeness hanging in effigy.
"I'm allowed to have my feelings, right, wrong, or indifferent,” Billy Pitner, the land-owner, said. “Here you are. Got your attention, didn't it?”
The general election is November 8. The last day to register to vote is October 11.

Native Americans fighting for their right to vote on their reservations.

Gladys Hicks has lived on the Pyramid Lake reservation in northern Nevada for her entire 83 years. She has never had a driver’s license, and, due to a broken hip, she relies on family members to help her get around.Hicks, a member of the Pyramid Lake Paiute Native American tribe, lives almost 45 miles from Reno. But in order to register to vote or cast an early ballot in-person for next month’s general election, she would have to make that long journey off the reservation.
“She doesn’t like to go too far from home,” her daughter, Della John, told ThinkProgress.
On a sunny Friday afternoon, John sat in the tribal office building where she works as an executive officer, responding to emails and phone calls about the tribe’s budget and upcoming cultural events.
While her job ensures that she is more connected, most of the roughly 1,700 Pyramid Lake Paiute live in remote homes without access to the internet and oftentimes without a car. Almost one quarter of the tribe lives in poverty.

Outside her office, dozens of homes can be seen scattered across the desert, with miles of sage brush and hills between them.
“Although our Indian people have been here for a long time, we still feel invisible sometimes,” John said. “We’re here, but we’re invisible.”
With the start of early voting just over two weeks away, the Pyramid Lake Pauite and another nearby northern Nevada tribe are entangled in a messy court battle in order to affirm one of their most fundamental rights, granted to them in 1924 — the right to vote.
    ‘Voting rights’ or ‘voting convenience’

While the two tribes have faced discrimination at the ballot for decades, they will finally get their day in court. On Tuesday, a federal judge in Reno will hold a hearing in a lawsuit filed by Four Directions, a Native American voting rights group, on behalf of five members of the Pyramid Lake and Walker River Paiute reservation.

The judge will consider a request for an emergency injunction that would open satellite voting locations on the two reservations during Nevada’s two-week early voting period.
Under the current set-up, Anglo members of Nevada’s Washoe and Mineral Counties have easy access to voter registration and early voting sites, but members of the two tribes have to drive up to 100 miles in order to register or early vote in-person in U.S. elections.
Native Americans in Nevada will have to travel almost 100 miles round-trip to vote
A new lawsuit is demanding satellite voting locations.thinkprogress.org

A recent survey conducted on the reservations found that “an overwhelming majority of Pyramid Lake Paiute and Walker River Paiute tribal members do not possess the economic and transportation resources to mitigate the travel distance to cast an early vote [on] an early voting site.” Only 35 percent of Walker River residents and 32 percent of Pyramid Lake residents said they own a car reliable enough to travel 100 miles without concern.
“I think it’s discriminatory based on race and income, because we’re poor,” John said.
Four Directions decided to take on Nevada’s disparity this year, after successfully fighting for satellite voting locations in South Dakota during prior elections — which led turnout in one Indian county to increase almost 140 percent.
In August, Bret Healy, a consultant for the group, asked the Nevada Secretary of State to open satellite polling locations on each reservation. From Healy’s perspective, the request was reasonable, would use minimal resources, and would help to equalize voting access in a state where white citizens have numerous ways to vote, but Natives have far fewer.
“If we were to give Indians three hours to vote on Election Day and Anglos 12, nobody would think that were fair,” Healy said. “This is no different.”

We just can't back Trump, 30 former GOP lawmakers say in letter

For months now, Hillary Clinton’s campaign has tried to cleave more moderate Republicans away from their party by playing up how uniquely horrendous Donald Trump is as a GOP standard-bearer. At the Democratic National Convention, Clinton had former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, once a Republican himself, deliver a high-profile speech. Before and after, she touted the endorsements she’d received from top GOP national security officials and former cabinet members. Her campaign even publicly flirted with trying to get the support of former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, despite how despised he remains for much of the Democratic Party base.
On Thursday, Clinton’s endeavors got a boost ― though, apparently, through no effort of her own. Thirty Republicans who served in Congress signed a letter saying they couldn’t vote for Trump in the general election.
“In nominating Donald Trump, the Republican Party has asked the people of the United States to entrust their future to a man who insults women, mocks the handicapped, urges that dissent be met with violence, seeks to impose religious tests for entry into the United States, and applies a de facto ethnicity test to judges,” the letter reads. “He offends our allies and praises dictators. His public statements are peppered with lies. He belittles our heroes and insults the parents of men who have died serving our country. Every day brings a fresh revelation that highlights the unacceptable danger in electing him to lead our nation.”
Among the letter’s signatories are former Reps. Bob Bauman (R-Md.), Steve Bartlett (R-Texas), Tom Coleman (R-Mo.), Bill Clinger (R-Pa.), Jim Kolbe (R-Ariz.), Tom Petri (R-Wis.), Mickey Edwards (R-Okla.), Bob Inglis (R-S.C.), Vin Weber (R-Minn.), and Dick Zimmer (R-N.J.), and former Sen. Gordon Humphrey (R-N.H

So I hear Bill Clinton is a bad guy...I mean incomparably bad

Trump recorded having extremely lewd conversation about women in 2005

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/polit...9757&tid=ss_tw

In that audio, Trump discusses a failed attempt to seduce a woman, whose full name is not given in the video.

“I moved on her and I failed. I’ll admit it,” Trump is heard saying. It was unclear when the events he was describing took place. The tape was recorded several months after he married his third wife, Melania.

    “Whoa,” another voice said.

“I did try and f--- her. She was married,” Trump says.

Trump continues: “And I moved on her very heavily. In fact, I took her out furniture shopping. She wanted to get some furniture. I said, ‘I’ll show you where they have some nice furniture.’”

“I moved on her like a , but I couldn’t get there. And she was married,” Trump says. “Then all of a sudden I see her, she’s now got the big phony tits and everything. She’s totally changed her look.”

At that point in the audio, Trump and Bush appear to notice Arianne Zucker, the actress who is waiting to escort them into the soap opera set.

“Your girl’s hot as s---, in the purple,” says Bush, who’s now a co-host of NBC’s “Today” show.

    “Whoa!” Trump says. “Whoa!”

“I’ve gotta use some tic tacs, just in case I start kissing her,” Trump says.“You know I’m automatically attracted to beautiful -- I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait.”

“And when you’re a star they let you do it,” Trump says. “You can do anything.”

“Whatever you want,” says another voice, apparently Bush’s.

“Grab them by the p---y,” Trump says. “You can do anything.”

It's just as offensive that neither CNN nor Fox among others are calling it like it is: "groping" is SEXUAL ASSAULT!!
I can only imagine what Ivanka must be going through right now...does she know this about her father?!That he speaks like that about women?
Ah, who am I kidding?! Of course they know! They're making money off the pig, too, so why rock the boat?
It's true, I guess....money helps buy silence, too.

Yep...she knew what a creep he is:

With all the hullabaloo surrounding Donald Trump’s attack on Carly Fiorina in the newest edition of Rolling Stone, it’s gone largely unnoticed that in the very next paragraph, Trump makes an über-creepy sex joke about his daughter Ivanka Trump.
At 69, he can still carry on like the teen who was yanked out of prep school and delivered to Col. Dobias, the take-no- instructor at the military academy. After I met Ivanka and praised her to her father, he said, “Yeah, she’s really something, and what a beauty, that one. If I weren’t happily married and, ya know, her father . . . ”
Yeah, no need to finish that thought.

JUST IN: Married Woman Trump Described in Audio Leak Was Access Hollywood’s Nancy O’Dell

    by Lindsey Ellefson | 8:26 pm, October 7th, 2016
    10

You definitely already know about the leaked audio of a conversation between Donald Trump and Billy Bush. The conversation took place in 2005 and, among other things, featured Trump saying that famous men can “do anything” to women, even “grab them by the p*ssy.” He also described his failed attempt to make a move on a married woman, who he said rebuffed him. He went on to remark on her “phony tits.”
So, who was the woman he “did try to f*ck” in spite of the fact that she “was married,” you wonder?
It was Access Hollywood‘s former anchor Nancy O’Dell.
