Just When I Was Beginning to Clear Some Space in My Freezer . . . and Then I Saw This
With all of the Maple Leaf and Schneiders deals from those wonderful $2.50 coupons, my freezers (yes, we have more than one) have been filled to capacity. And, for the past two weeks, we've been beginning to clear a bit of space as we've been using up some of the bacon, stuffed chicken breasts, etc.
And then I saw the back page of the Sobeys (ON) flyer! :yikes: When you purchase 3 specified Nestle frozen items, you earn 75 bonus Air Miles. I couldn't resist so here is what I did:
18 x boxes of Nestle Kids Novelties @ $2.99 each = $53.82 (plus tax)
Bonus Air Miles earned = 6 x 75 = 450 AM = $47.37 (dollar value)
So, I have 18 boxes of Nestle Kids Novelties (a variety of Itzakadoozie, Frupops, Life Saver Pops) for a total of:
$53.82 - $47.37 (AM value) = $6.45 (plus $7.00 tax) - or 36 cents plus tax per box
The regular price of just one of these boxes is $5.79 (plus $ .75 tax)! I have 18 boxes for just over the regular price of one box! ;)
With this Ontario heat, we'll be cooling off with Nestle treats.
And, once again, my freezers are filled to capacity!
