Canada’s restaurant sector is crying foul after being served a second helping of price increases this year by the Canadian Dairy Commission.
Citing falling revenues of dairy farmers, the Canadian Dairy Commission announced Friday it is pushing up prices for industrial milk for the second time this year.
That means restaurants and consumers will end up paying more for cheese, yogurt, ice cream and butter, said Restaurants Canada, the association that represents the industry.
