Trying to get organized with back to school shopping and was wondering what's needed for jk besides the obvious(backpack, lunch box, water bottle indoor shoes, lables for everything). My school doesn't have any info online and nothing was sent with the jk letter.
Also does anyone know if I need running shoes in addition to indoor shoes(when we visited the school I saw lots of ballet flats in the cubbies, which is why I'm wondering because I know those type of shoes can't be used for gym class).

The teacher may post later in the month but based on memory you need a change of clothes, crayons, scissors. Some teachers will ask you for tissue, paper towel and even utensils. They spend so much out of packet so it makes sense, I would send one of the 6 packs of tissue at the start of school and again in the new year, with coupons this was cheap. For shoes I think that in JK the indoor shoes were the running shoes but I have boys so it was easier. They also needed a sleaping mat aka towel. Of course ghost days are behind me as we are now gr 8 and gr 11, yikes. Good luck on the jk adventure.

You def. need a change of clothes, backpack, lunch bag and runners for their indoor shoes (usable for gym class, just as you suspected )

Don't worry about stationary yet, it is likely not needed. Teacher may ask for a box of tissues from each child, to pitch in because they go through tissues like crazy. They will let you know.

Good luck in September to you and your little cutie
