I received three different answers regarding how long it takes for the bonus points to show up. The air miles people first said after the promotion was over. Then they said to give it a week after the promotion. When I called today, the lady said it can take up to 30 days. I told her it should say this in the metro flyer under the promotion and she agreed. She seemed to know what she was talking about so give it UP TO 30 days.

It takes 6 days. I almost always shop a deal like that on the first day of the sale and the points are there by the last day of the sale.

Its been eight days since I made my metro purchase and redeemed my 95 air miles for the 25 air miles bonus. The 25 points are not in there yet. It can take more than six days.

Actually one aren't there either I guess it's just sobeys that takes 6 days for me

Yeah. It varies from Retailers to retailer. Usually I find Rexall & Sobeys to be the quickest. Some places like RONA , Lowes etc, I have seen it take more than a month !

Air Miles is one of the crappiest & least consistent programs out there.

Guess I'll just have to keep an eye on it. There was a similar Metro promotion back in May (redeem 95AM and get 50AM) and I shopped on Sun and got the bonus miles by Wed.

My points showed up today, Sept. 8, three weeks after the purchase. Keep this in mind for future air miles promos. They backdated it to Aug 29 but it showed up today, three weeks after.
