Awww Poo! But thanks for the info @bhlombardy. That's gonna make for a pretty busy November schedule

especially since Fridays and Saturdays don't count. It's okay though, free movies are worth it!

Here's a tip too: many of the blockbusters, while they SAY they have release date of Friday actually appear Thursday nights. You can use your coupon on that night, if that's the case... even IF it says "no passes". This isnt technically a pass.

See if Nature Valley granola bars have them. Usually they are $ 2 or less a box on sale. But for granola boxes you need 2 PINS so you will have to buy 2 boxes for 1 Movie tkts.

I have only seen it on Honey Nut Cheerios and Multi Grain cheerios in my city so far. Last year the roll out was much faster and more types were available quickly

    1 Cereal Box = 1 PIN = 1 Movie tkt

2 Nature Valley Granola Bar boxes = 2 PINS = 1 Movie tkt

Can I use the B1G1 and pay for the ticket with an M&M code?

    Thank you.

I don't think you can. Might as well wait till november for the free movies with GM cereal code and use m&m code some other month.

    You can't.... for sure

Both the M&M and the General Mills B1G1 codes must be used online (as you know),

When you redeem ANY code that is a straight "free" ticket (M&M, Nestea, Coke, etc), it doesnt count as a "purchased" ticket. You are simply granted the ticket for that code.

For a B1G1 code to work, you key in the code, and during the online purchase you actually have to "PURCHASE" a single ticket from the ticket selection, which has a ticket price attached. (see screen shot)

    Attachment 321381

Any codes for 'free' tickets don't count as a purchase because you didn't select to purchase a ticket.

    Make sense?

ADDED: The B1G1 DOES work, however, if you "purchase" with Scene Points, because then you are still selecting to 'purchase' a ticket.

Just an update.... I stated earlier in this thread that the vouchers should still earn you Scene Points. They did last year on the old Points system. However...

You will NOT earn Scene Points any more for these vouchers. Not even if you pay the overage for a special presentation (IMAX, 3D, AVX, or VIP). You won't get ANY points for your ticket, regardless.

You will, however, get your 20pts "online bonus" per transaction.

So keep in mind: if you book 4 free tickets on one transaction, you still only get 20pts... book them on separate transactions you get 20pts per transaction.

Every company and site keeps getting stingier ......also discovered that the granola bar codes are only good for B1G1 and not for the free tkt

Dr. Strange good free movie to watch in November.

Spend 3 bucks extra and pay the difference and upgrade to 3D from the free regular movie. Well worth it . Visually spectacular movie.

Trolls movie is not bad for small/young kids. But its more on the girly side and not on boyish side, for kids.

Giant Tiger has them for $ 3.97 this week. Advertised as Family size boxes in their flyer. SomPM if you can.

The boxes are definitely harder to find this year and more expensive. Plus less types of cereals have them. Last year the varieties were higher, like Oat Mill Crisp etc. This year mostly on Cheerios, which I hate
