Never got invited
I was able to convert 95K Shoppers points to $170 in PC points once, I am sitting on another 95K SOP since then and waiting :D
Not since the initial conversion offer in April and that was barely a one-week opportunity. I had saved the links and tried during summer to try to convert again (got messages that offers were no longer available) . At some point, the tech team 404'd the links during the summer so that meant NO.
Chatted with head cashier, she said what everyone else had said...test program, not moving forward with it at this time 😣. Figures.

While chatting about PC points with one of my favourite cashiers, she mentioned that she just heard that the Optimum program will be closing next year, and if I understood her correctly it will be moving to PC points. I wonder if they had hoped to have an equal back and forth. Like even people switching from sdm to pc and vice Versa but had an overwhelming amount switching from sdm to pc.... Obviously I'm just speculating but makes sense they'd scrap the idea then and consider switching solely to pc. Although j don't think it will happen in the near future

It'd be a sad day, at least for me, if they decide to shut down SDM loyalty program. I'll need to find way to use up all my points or hopefully they allow a one-time conversion to PC points.
It's would be nice to use those PC points for gift cards. And then you can use them to buy something big ie) Canadian tire.
I hope they don't change it, but I figured it was inevitable!!
I thought the same thing, that they were getting a feel for using both or one of the programs. The cashier said the end of Optimum would happen next year; hopefully it would be later in the year rather than earlier.Quote:
