i have had that offer or 10x wus $75 6 weeks in a row. It really sucks!

IF they get rid of the Optimum program Shoppers will suffer. They have the best program and it keeps people going back. PC points suck in comparison. If they are going to switch to PC points then they better revamp the program.

I would have no reason to shop at SDM if they get rid of Optimum program. Even the eggs are cheaper elsewhere these days!

If Optimum goes bye-bye, I'll be using my Air Miles card at Sobeys and Rexall more.
PC Plus has to take on the Optimum donations options plus make it easier to find PC Plus offers in stores when the Fortinos flyers
hardly have any points offers (beyond the back to school or Pepsi or Coke promotions) in order to keep me should Optimum close down.

Ladies and gents I have good news

I went to my local SDM today and spoke with one of the cosmeticians about this.

She said she went to a business meeting recently and the CEO of Loblaws was speaking.

This ' End date ' apparently is only for legality reasons - ALL promotions similar, PC Plus, Airmiles etc have this. The CEO knows the importance of Optimum and what it brings to SDM as a company. There will be no changes with PC Plus merging or anything like that.

They accumulate SDM points too being an employee as well as get a 30% discount, they don`t want theirs to vanish either.

I think it's like all the incentive programs, some work better for others. Personally I am in the love PC plus and don't give a fig about shoppers camp my offers have been so crappy lately I don't even bother to load them and most weeks I don't even look. If the 2 day sales are worth going in for that's the only way shoppers can lure me in. But before Loblaw bought them I was a huge fan and very happy with the program so it works for me for a number of years.

I don't think she would lie to you this is shat she was told but they may be lying to her. This is to stop people like me from spreading the news that it is ending. (But I know better)
