I remember when I was little we used to go play on the haystacks at my grandparents' farm, but we always had to have an adult supervising us in case the stack (of hay bales) fell over on us.... fun!

so anyway... ya, the haystacks were 7 or 8 bales high, so it was HIGH to a little kid... we would find a place where there was a big pile of loose hay and then jump off the haystack into the pile of hay! toooo much fun... of course we would be full of itchy hay when we came back into the house
