Banned for something I can't do either..

Banned you are for not banning me, as I sometimes like a good banning,
Think of all the times that I've banned you, without thought or planning,
I've banned by the morning light & banned you by the dark of night,
I've banned you cause it just felt right & banned you as if it was a rite,
I like banning the boys cause they can throw & catch a ball,
& ban them cause they like a hockey brawl,
I've banned guys before for rowing a boat,
& once banned a guy who did not leave a note,
I only ban the guys that I really like,
& once banned a guy who loved fishing for pike,
I've banned men who like singing & can carry a tune,
I've also banned all the guys who are from the lagoon,
I've banned the boys who make me laugh,
& once banned by proxy on anothers behalf,
So why should I continue to keep on banning in rhyme?
It's cause you're just so cute & in your banning prime.
