Any advice on which grocery stores are most "user-friendly" for coupons?

We'll be living up near the university.

I have not been in London since 2007. But I do remember that south of the university is a one-level shopping plaza. Two grocery stores plus a Shoppers!

North of the university is Masonville Place, a major shopping mall (2-level). https://www.cfshops.com/masonville-place.html

There is a Real Canadian Superstore in the city somewhat east of the campus...actually there's one west of the campus too.

Public transit note during winter-London does get whammied by snow at least twice per winter, which can shut down the transit for hours or days. Downtown London has a former Eaton's Centre that houses the main Central Public Library branch and is across the street from Covent Garden, the farmer's market/vendor mall. There may be a creperie business still there and a tea shop (loose tea blends and teapots for sale) on the second floor.

Most of my visits to the city involved walking or using London Transit. So yes, I did one visit to RCSS with my friend who was at Fanshawe for school.
You'll love the mature trees of the city-so much shade. Proximity to the university campus means any events there (university or third-party) will be easy to access.

And you'll be a Greyhound bus away (when you are downtown) from Hamilton, if you can put about 3h aside for a one-way trip to see the Ambitious City.

Metro won't take printables unless it's there own
No Frills, RCSS, Loblaws don't price match
Walmart, Food Basics, Freshco do price match but must be local area
All Shoppers are independently owned so everything is variable
