Today's food bank donations dropped off 205 lbs and retail value of over $668 today.
So far, we've donated 3 times for 2016 totalling over $2000 worth, all FREE with couponing. I've surpassed last year's donation total of $1200 worth. Feels good!! Food banks right now are in dire need of food and supplies for the upcoming Holiday season. Please consider donating if you have excess in your stockpile or don't have a need for certain free products.

This time around, this donation consisted of 82 boxes of cereal, 17 contact lens solution, 7 Glucerna packs, 6 Ensure packs, 3 Tena products, 12 Formula, and much more.

    Thanks for watching!

This is awesome! Can I ask why do they need your receipts?

I think you can claim it at tax time as a donation even though u get it for free. When ever I drop off food the ask me if I have the receipt I never does because I am not good at keeping receipts

Thanks! Didn't know you could claim it even though it's free! I'm guessing they take the pre-coupon price?

I think that all depends. When I donated to the Humane Society, they only gave me a tax deductible receipt for the amount OOP after coupons.

Not all food banks do. They asked me too when I first started donating so I just gave them any receipts I had where I paid OOP.
