Hamiltonians will either drive to a Loblaws in the GTA (Mississauga or Toronto) or head to a Zehrs in Cambridge or Caledonia to participate in the Redeem event.

Not certain that Oakville has a Loblaws anywhere since the Lakeshore Rd store changed to a Fortinos banner 3 years ago. Looked at the store locator and Mississauga locations come at the top of the results.

Is this a limited area event? The cashier at YIG did not know anything about it. I read this weeks ad from top to bottom and there was no mention of any event. Am I getting excited for nothing? I do not want to miss a good shopping experience....

As the title shows, this redemption event is only available at Loblaws stores around Ottawa region, YIG around Ottawa region and all Zehrs stores. You can check this week's flyer in-store, if you see the heads up regarding the upcoming redemption event - means that store is participating.

Thank you for explaining, I do live near Ottawa, but I guess, not close enough. My confusion came from a post above that mentioned the GTA area(Toronto). This made me think all of Ontario, despite the title of the post.

Sorry! I know that Loblaws is not very prolific outside of Toronto or Ottawa so I was trying to think of where those of us in Hamilton/Halton might go to participate in the event. This might be a Zehrs-only option then for us.
I posted with the assumption that Loblaws might actually want all of its customers to get dibs on the points-but it could be a YMMV/Ottawa only Loblaws promo but Ontario-wide Zehrs thing.

I am happy to see the 50K level included. I have about 75K points right now, so can participate. Also, I don't often spend $100 in one shop at grocery store anymore as I buy lots of my food directly from local farmers. So while I won't get the higher percentage back, I'm totally happy getting 10% points back just for using some points The higher levels are great for those who spend more at the grocery store in one shop.

I have heard that when they ran it in the summer you could. Will have to wait for fine print
