2000 or 4000 free SDM points for subscription to special Xmas offers

I have not tried this because I am sans cell phone at the moment but others have used this with success.

First text “CHEER” to 736898 to subscribe special Optimum offers every Tuesday until Dec 20.
Once you text CHEER, you will get 3 texts in reply.
One notifying you that the first offer will come up on Dec 6.
One asking you to reply with “Y” to receive 2,000 Optimum points.
Once you send "y", a text asks for the last 9 digits of your SDM Optimum card, and tells you the points will be added to your account in January 13, 2017.
Send your Optimum card number, done!
After the points are added, you can Text "STOP" to the same # to unsub.

Thanks for the Heads Up wendymac. Is worked just like you said. My phone keeps warning me about charges but I have unlimited text messaging so unless Shoppers is charging me to text them I am ASSUMING I will not have any charges.

You probably remember that last year, there were daily offers over an almost two week period in Dec.2015. One male SCer pointed out how some of the deals seemed aimed only at women until later there were deals he could use.
