Survivor Season 34 - Game Changers

My daughter happened to be home from school last night (last couple of weeks of exams before summer) so we watched as a family. As TrueNorthTreasures said above, I too am still processing it. I cannot believe that happened. I wonder if it will solidify the rest as a cohesive unit or at the very least, make them not want to vote out Zeke. Up to that point I had really enjoyed watching Jeff Varner but man, what an evil, selfish move. What made it even worse for me was the way he tried to justify it and then cried and then tried to justify it again, at least he apologized. I just cannot get over this.

...after I managed to pick my jaw up off the ground...and as things were still unraveling...
I did mention to the Lady that I'm 99.9% Sure they weren't going to do a closed vote tonight...apologies aside, the only thing that Varner could have done to soften things a little more was to have not let Probst actually go around and ask the tribe, but to stand up on his own after the 'discussion' and walk his torch over himself, without the tribe having to say anything.

I think Survivor season 34 is not living up to other seasons.
As for Zeke It all felt a little set up to me after all it is T.V. but its nice to see everyone had his back.

If it comes out that was set up, it will certainly be the last time I watch the show.

While I don't think it was a set up I was very shocked as most of us were. But it wasn't live so it was very much edited after of course getting the go ahead from Zeke of course if he didn't agree to airing it they wouldn't have. Now that it's out in the open Varner is gone really doesn't change anything for me. I'm not rooting for him any more or any less.

I just read that Jeff Varner was fired from his real estate job after this episode aired.

Wonder what the decision before the merge is...
13 players...I wonder....
...at 4 seconds in the preview clip...just for a flash of it...as the two tribes are standing there...it looks like there is a third tribe rug set up (maybe just me seeing things)...
Do they split up into three tribes of four for the reward challenge or two groups of six (I think this is more likely, as the clip at 0:12 shows only two groups...)? odd one out goes to Exile!? no reward for them!?

That is what my gut says, but I am always wrong about this kind of thing on Survivor LOL. It would be socially brutal to go to exile just as the tribe merges

The more and more I look at it, I'm thinking it's just the standard Survivor Banner...looking closer at the banners in the backgrounds as the survivors get their closeup, makes things a little clearer.

Still looking forward to the challenge, merge, and whatever else is in store!

I forgot to comment about last weeks episode all I can say is WOW what an ass Varner was to out ZEKE

Sorry to see Ozzy go last night, that was pretty stupid I wish they had gotten rid of Michaela I can't stand her. The fact that Hali was willing to let people go through her bag was a very honest move too bad they didn't take her up on it.

Oh well, really enjoying this season so far
