My kids haven't been sleeping so I've been down and out and had to make up for a few errands I had been meaning to do. So today was a crazy day. Three grocery stores, three towns, two buy sell pick ups, with two cranky pants toddlers. Lol here we go...

And the best deal! My meat! Ok so no idea what's up with my store but their shelves were BARE. Maybe moving stuff? No clue but I stumble on a huge display of lean ground beef for $.99/lbs!!!! Whhaaaa so I grabbed seven packs! Each of the giant club packs were $4 and change I drew a crowd over because I was filling my cart lmao! Tons left but boooyyy did I ever want to take t all! Good thing I didn't since my freezer is so so so full!

Also if you need room in the freezer cook up some of the ground beef and freeze. Less volume. Use in recipes like pasta bakes and shepherd's pie.

holy moly!! What a great savings on that beef! Curious about the Flamingo coupons, is it o.k. with them that you used individual $3.00 coupons on each of the boxes as well as the save $10.00 wyb 2? I know for a fact at my WM they would not have allowed that....they are so mean there now.
congrats to you though....oh and also extra kudos like before for " SWK "
ha ha ( shopping with kids )

The promo is at loblaws and I bought them at loblaws. I wouldn't price match because I'd be shocked if any store would price match a bogo promo like that. I've done it several times now with no issue. It's no different then the chicken being on sale for $2.99/$3 and using a coupon. just a different way for them to advertise the sale.

Hats off to you for going to so many different stores . I like all your savings
And with your little darlings . I can't imagine how you can concentrate to coupon with little ones I guess they are well behaved and also in training to save when they are olderLast edited by flemeth; Thu, Dec 1st, 2016 at 06:11 PM.

My Superstore was clearing out beef today too for the same price. Filled both mine and my mom's freezer with beef(really wish I had a beef offer this week).

My Superstore was also clearing ground beef! It was $1.99/lb, which I'm happy about. Welllll, maybe a little less happy after hearing about your $0.99/lb beef
