Question about renewing health card and using drivers license++

I have a question. Can you renew your health card with just a G1 drivers license?because a full G license will take me a couple years and I don't know if I'll make it in time for when my next health card renewal comes in....so will I be able to renew it with just a G1...would they accept that?


Sorry if it's a stupid question/ first time getting license. I'm thinking yes because it will be a signed document? but not sure if they require full licence or not, wanted to check with you guys if anyone has maybe done this or knows.

Is a G1 the written test? If so, then yes you can use it for I.D. to get your Health card, my son did that.

Oh, not sure, I just heard the full licence takes 3 years, I thought a G1 is still a licence, don't know what form it comes in. / Thank you! good to know.

yes, that is the official plastic card license they give you when you do the written test, but he just never bothered to take the road test, so he just uses this for I.D. It expires in 5 years I think if he doesn't ever take the road test.

Thank you so much! I think the health card people just need a document with your identity that has your signature on it. Have not started my licence process yet so am not sure what they give you, thank you very much! this is good news!
